Youth Club success through football.

The SYDNI Centre is delighted to be working in partnership with Young People First who are delivering our youth club to support young people in the local area and wider communities. The youth club took some young men to a recent football tournament in the Midlands. Jayne, Youth Work Manager took the group and it was a great day as you can see from Jayne's comments.

"I just wanted to share the news about the youth club attending the football tournament on Saturday. The older boys played their hearts out and won one of their 5 matches. The younger boys made it to the finals out of 12 teams. Unfortunately they lost 2 - 1 to an academy team. This is an incredible achievement and I'm so proud of the young people.

We took 19 young people and they loved every second. This has been an amazing opportunity for staff to build some positive relationships with all the young men who attend SYDNI."
