The Prince's Trust Team Programme at The SYDNI Centre

The SYDNI Centre was delighted to have a group of students from The Prince’s Trust working in the grounds recently.  Under the guidance of Team Leader Martin, the students Hollie, Rhea, Tor, Ella, Sean, Cory, Rhys, Leyton, Cove and Libby set about with energy and enthusiasm to dig, clear and weed a very overgrown area of the garden behind the Centre.  Large roots were dug up and the area cleared of ivy and weeds to transform into well dug over beds ready for planting in the spring.  The students restored a bench and planters and created a wonderful clock in the ground by recycling tree stumps.  The result is a calm and tranquil spot to sit.  We are so grateful at SYDNI and a big thanks to all involved!
